Installing Fast Find for Mac OSX |

| Overview: We make sure PHP is running. It should be version 5 with the default OSX. We need to upgrade the standard MySQL data server that comes with OSX. Then we turn it on - and extract the Fast Find utility. |

| Go to your Systems Preferences control panel and tick Web Sharing | |
Turn on the ability to ask for data from our database |

| Open the Terminal window in Utilities, and type as shown: cd /etc/apache2 sudo pico httpd.conf and then enter your admin password |

| Using Ctrl-V and Ctrl-Y to scroll the pages, look for the line that begins #LoadModule php5_module - and then delete the # at the start of the line as shown here: |

Save the file |
Ctrl-O will write the file, enter to save it, and then Ctrl-W to exit the editor. |
