Installing Fast Find for Mac OSX
Page 1 ~ Overview and enabling PHP

Overview:
We make sure PHP is running. It should be version 5 with the default OSX.
We need to upgrade the standard MySQL data server that comes with OSX.
Then we turn it on - and extract the Fast Find utility.
Go to your Systems Preferences control panel and tick Web Sharing
Turn on the ability to ask for data from our database

Open the Terminal window in Utilities, and type as shown:
cd /etc/apache2
sudo pico httpd.conf
and then enter your admin password
Basic command line stuff
Using Ctrl-V and Ctrl-Y to scroll the pages, look for the line that begins
#LoadModule php5_module - and then delete the # at the start of the line as shown here:
How it will look
Save the file
Ctrl-O will write the file, enter to save it, and then Ctrl-W to exit the editor.
